As I watch the news and see people having to deal with snow, I am so grateful to live in Northern California. I know sometimes Lance misses the snow, but all he has to do is drive for about an hour and he can enjoy as much snow as he wants--perfect! Yesterday the boys came home from school and spent hours playing in the yard. Zac even ate his snack on the trampoline.
And when Zac spilt his cereal, Shay was very happy to help clean up the mess.

My mom bought these little baby Crocs while on vacation a couple weeks ago. I guess she is as baby hungry as we are.

After I took the first picture he adjusted to this position, it doesn't look much more comfy to me!
When I put his back in his bed, I found all these toys in the bed, no wonder he has to sleep standing up!

After being inspired by a friend's blog, I have decided to teach the boys about a different artist each week. Yesterday we learned about Winslow Homer. The boys had a hard time remembering his name and kept calling him Martin Luther King Jr. At least they remember Luther's name!

Cute thing number 5: Family Night Fashion Show
We have this great book of family night ideas that uses the topic covered in the For Stength of Youth booklet in terms that little children can understand. Last night the topic was modesty, which is kind of strange for all boys, but we did talk about saggin' pants. The activity was to pretend you were in a different country where you didn't know the language and then have a fashion show showing how you could dress that people would know you were LDS. Both Zac and Brycen decided to be missionaries and were quite proud of themselves. (Zac's white shirt was in the laundry) They loved walking through the "curtain" to surprise us with their new looks.

We have even more snow! Our home teacher is on constant duty.
All have returned home, and it back to Lowell and myself. The kids look like they are enjoying the good weather. I also enjoyed the fashion show. Love to all
I love your little series on artists. . . that was what I wanted to major in at BYU. I do love art and really I think I'll copy YOUR example. . .what a fun idea.
